On Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, the homeless theater group 'Walkabout,' presented its 11th performance at the Station Theater. The audience turnout was moving. It is a multilayered performance full of associations about the positive and negative, beauty and ugliness, truth, and lies, which are united and indivisible in nature and life. The theater was filled with emotions and thoughts about the values and ideals that are questioned and readjusted throughout life.

Through their interpretations, our protagonists reminded us of the value of human connectivity and the importance of seeking the meaning of life through love, understanding, and solidarity. 

Ultimately, there is hope, and we will always choose life no matter how grim things may seem. It was a night of solidarity, honored by the presence, among others, of Member of Parliament Mr. George Stamatis, Deputy Mayor Ms. Katerina Gagaki, and the Vice President of the Athens Municipal Crèche, Ms. Popi Giannopoulou.

The performance was organized with the support of the SynAthina program of the Municipality of Athens. We warmly thank eventora, efood, TGI Fridays, and Coca-Cola 3E for supporting each performance.

The homeless theater group 'Walkabout' will continue to push vulnerable fellow human beings out of the margins through drama therapy, turning weakness into strength and hope. We renew our appointment for the next performance.
